In the last post we ended in Trouillas (France), from there we’ve been stopping in some other places on the French Riviera. Some of them some of which we’d never heard of and some other well-known ones such as Cannes, Nice or Monaco. If we had to choose our favorite, it would be Nice, it has a really nice old town that invites you to explore…

But, honestly, we were keen to arrive in la bella Italia and, finally, here we are! Our first stop was Sanremo and the truth is that we liked it a lot. We were parked up just next to the sea, from where there was a lane for bikes and pedestrians that lead us to the center of the city which was a pleasant 30-minute walk… We did it every day! The old town is quite peculiar, full of hills, narrow streets, traditional shops ideal to get lost, discover new corners and have a good coffee in one of its terraces.

Now we are in Imperia, you can see we haven’t left the coast and this is because all three of us love the sea, enjoying the sunrises and sunsets, the sound of gently crashing waves, and running along the beach (well, to be honest, that’s just Shiba).

What to say other than we love Italy so far and that we are looking forward to discovering more of it, we have even bought a book to learn to speak Italian! For the moment, we move forward slowly and enjoying each new destination.
